After fifty years of general practise as a lawyer Mauritz has thrown in his considerable weight of experience with his son to see this company well on its way to success.

He studied law at Stellenbosch and Natal University, qualified as an attorney, conveyancer, notary, estate agent and appraiser, and specialised in property, estates and investments. He was a active part time stock farmer for 10 years and was involved in property development both commercial and residential. In between it all he managed to play on the flank for Natal for six years. He later played tennis and is now an established bowler.

Mauritz van Rooyen attends generally to admin appraisals and property transactions and is generally involved in setting up of auctions.
